1/48 GERMAN HEAVY TRACTOR SS-100

The Tamiya 1/48 German Heavy Tractor SS-100 Plastic Model Kit recreates the SS-100, a heavy tractor used extensively by German forces during WWII. Powered by a 100-horsepower 8,553cc diesel engine, the real vehicle could tow loads up to 20 tons and was employed for hauling artillery, aircraft, V2 rockets, and recovering disabled vehicles. This 1/48 scale kit features slide-molded cab parts for superior fit and includes detailed chassis, suspension, exhaust, and interior components, plus tow bar parts for pairing with other Tamiya 1/48 aircraft (sold separately).

This kit provides separate parts for the large cab-rear tool box and left and right air tanks, adding depth to the exterior detailing. The interior includes seat, steering wheel, and accessory elements for an authentic appearance, while the realistic underside highlights the tractor's mechanical layout. A driver figure is included in a natural pose, and four marking options allow you to depict Heer, Luftwaffe, or Kriegsmarine service.
